What is the Centre for Skilled Trades and Technology?
Located at Carrier Drive near Humber's North Campus, the Centre for Skilled Trades and Technology is Humber's dedicated trades training facility. A $9.5-million expansion completed in October 2024 added 16,000 square feet of space, including a new HVAC lab, gas and oil lab, AR/VR/XR simulation studio, and woodworking lab, creating 500 additional training seats.
Does Humber offer financial support for trades students?
Yes. Apprenticeship students may qualify for Employment Insurance benefits during in-school training blocks. Pre-apprenticeship programs at Humber are tuition-free for eligible applicants.
